Summer days are here and we can all use this time to explore what’s around us. And whether you prefer hiking (like me), beach days, or wineries, being outdoors always has something for everyone. No matter where you are, you’ll also have more than a handful of pretty and colorful mural art around. Here in Central Florida, we have a lot of these cute art murals!
And although I’ve explored a whole lot of them, I have my set of personal favorites that I want to share. However, it’s very likely that you’ll see more of them at walking distance from the ones I am sharing.
Explore them and create your very own list of favorites!
Where to Find Beautiful Mural Art in Central Florida
Without a doubt, there are a lot of art murals in Florida. It’s quite impossible to show even half of them in just one post. However, it’s within these murals that I found my Florida vibes when I first moved to the Sunshine State back in 2016. No matter how many art murals I explore, these are the ones that have made my favorites list.
1. Downtown St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg is definitely one of my favorite places when it comes to mural art. The best thing about exploring these murals around this downtown is that you will also find cute shops and all the artsy vibes!

📍 While you’re here: Get your tickets for a glass blowing demonstration at the Morean Arts Center. It’s an incredible experience for the whole family! Admission: $20 for adults, $13 for 6-18 yrs old.
2. Downtown Melbourne
Melbourne is one of the coastal cities that I enjoy visiting the most. At just 1 hour and 25 min drive from Orlando, it’s a place that you really have to visit. There are many murals around the town that are very colorful and super fun for pictures.

📍 While you’re here: Eat a couple of slices of Melbourne’s most delicious New York-style pizza at The Original Bizzarro Famous NY Pizza. Believe me when I say it’s a piece of New York here in Florida!
3. Mills 50 District – Downtown Orlando
The Mills 50 District is the epicenter of most of the art murals in Downtown Orlando. It’s an amazing place to explore many artsy and colorful murals. Although I have many, many favorite murals in O-Town, I’ll never get tired of these.

📍 While you’re here: Make a stop at Maya Books & Music for a one-of-a-kind experience surrounded by books and vinyl records.
5. Iconic City of Tampa Mural Art
This mural art is a must for every local or traveler alike. The Tampa Postcard Mural is located in Downtown Tampa and it’s definitely one you don’t want to miss. Due to its popularity, you might not be the only one waiting to get a picture. Therefore, plan accordingly.
